Level 2 GMAW - Mild Sheet Steel
Level 2 Welding is a Beginning to Intermediate level Gas Metal Arc Welding course designed for the student who has completed the Level 1 GMAW course, or has some experience with MIG welding. The course is designed to build upon the skills and techniques acquired in the Level 1 course by having the student weld the basic joints out of position.
The short term goal of this course is to enhance the student's skills and also to prepare the student for advancement to the Level 3 GMAW Mild Sheet Steel Welding course, which leads to certification.
33 hours of instruction

The course is offered in an "open enrollment" format, which allows a students to begin whenever space is available. Please check our calendar listing for availability.
Students must provide their own welding helmet, jacket or sleeves, proper GMAW gloves, and must wear 100% cotton, full length pants and clothing, as well as leather boots or shoes, and safety glasses, which must be worn at all times while in the shop.
